Narra, Palawan, October 2011. Three coastal barangays in Narra, Palawan ranted and raved the Sunday heat to plant endemic and native trees in celebration of the municipality’s Palay Festival. Barangay Captains of Antipuluhan, Panacan 1 and 2 led their constituents in the “Community Tree Planting” initiated by the Katala Foundation on October 23, 2011. This was their humble investment into the future and to help combat global warming.
